Principles of Nuclear Power Plant

IlmuPengetahuan.Org - Basically the working principles of the Nuclear Power Plant or the nuclear as well as conventional power plants. In the process works, the water will be evaporated in a container (kettle) through incineration. In the combustion will produce steam which will be channeled into the turbines which will move if there is a vapor pressure. Turbine in the process will move. The movement of the turbine is used to drive a generator that would produce electrical energy. If the Conventional Power Plant, which is the difference in the fuel produces steam heat, with oil, gas, or coal.

The process of burning these fuels will produce gas Carbon Dioxide or CO2, SO2 Sulfur Dioxide and Nitrogen Dioxide also called Nox, besides burning produces dust containing heavy metal content. Burning remains of the above will be gas emissions into the air and potentially major environmental pollution. Some of the environmental pollution is acid rain and global warming (Global Warming).

As for the Nuclear Power Plant, the heat generated from the process used core Uranium fission reaction in a nuclear reactor. Heat transfer material such as water is used continuously circulated during the process. Fuel used for combustion, which uses the Uranium do not release particles such as NOx, CO2, or SO2, and did not issue a dust containing metallic particles sll below. Thus Nuclear Power Plant is generating a very friendly environment. In Indonesia also plans to use this type of power plant. Read more on: Construction of nuclear power plant in Indonesia.
