The frightened rabbit

Once upon a time there were some hares persecuted by the other beasts. They did not know where to go. When they saw an animal approach them, they run quickly. One day the hares saw a troop of wild horses suddenly rush with a fear. Panickly the hares went to the lake. They determined to drown themselves rather than live in such a continual state of fear. However when they got near the bank of the lake, a troop of frogs frightened because of the hares, jumped into the water. Then one of the hares said, "Truly. Things are not so bad as they seem".
